Mapei is a key partner to many working in the building industry. From waterproofing private swimming pools to soundproofing theatres and restoring historic buildings, Mapei has something for every sector of the building industry.

Mapei had a vision to enhance their showroom in Clerkenwell to provide an inviting space for customers to aid the specification process of all the Mapei products available. To promote the brand and provide a mixture of settings for staff working, educational rooms for talks and comfortable zones for people to enjoy.

Mapei engaged with Search4 Office Solutions to manage and co-ordinate the project which was planned in 2024, with construction commencing in early 2025 for a completion in time for Clerkenwell Design week in May 2025. The work included a revamp of the ground floor, with a new concrete floor from the Mapei range, new lighting, enhanced display areas. The lower ground became useable space for meetings, with a devisable wall to increase flexibility.

The project team was extremely professional and worked through a number of challenges, including a flood (caused by others) with the design work completed by Burtt-Jones & Brewer and the construction work carried out by Synergia.
